Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will coordinate and manage all financial, administrative and accounting functions as well as legal and tax related issues for the Company’s 2 sites in Parma e Collecchio. Ensure that the financial statements and general ledger are prepared timely and accurately in accordance with GAAP. Be a strong team-player, contributing, to process improvement, cost savings and increased efficiency, researching and resolving accounting issues with financial and operations departments, while supporting change management via efficient communication with all parties. He/she will interact with external auditors, prepare various schedules and analyses for the Company’s annual audit and assist in special projects as necessary.
With a University Degree in Economics and fluency in English, you will have at least 5 years of general accounting experience, a strong understanding of the Italian tax regulations and a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferably within a well-organized and modern company with an international culture. You will also have analytical, process and system skills, experience using and implementing a major ERP system, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and a high energy level.
