For the Italian operation we are selecting a
FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER
Technical Support and Commissioning Engineering
For this new position, with work location in Bologna Area, the candidate we would like to meet has a Technical background ideally in the HVAC/R industry, possibly a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical, with 3/5 years of experience in HVAC/R.
Profile: Reporting to the Sales Director Italy – Automatic Control Refrigeration – and supporting the Key Account Managers and Sales Managers, he/she provides extensive technical product support for Automatic Controls portfolio to the Customers represented by OEM – Key Accounts – Wholesalers.
The Field Service Engineer will be the vital link to realize the overall sales objectives for AC within the Region – Central and Northen Italy – supporting the Business Development plans by providing Component/System expertise, trouble shooting capability and overall support in the selection, qualification and application of the Automatic Controls Product Portfolio.
He/she will be part of a dedicated Team covering the Area Northen and Central Italy. He/she will operate and be supported by colleagues on a European Level.
He/she will also ensure that critical application knowledge obtaines in the field is communicated back into the factories to both improve our existing products and help in the development for new Product Platforms.
The responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer includes:
• Support the Key Account Managers and Sales Managers in any technical, quality or sales activity,
• Understanding customer requirements, identify opportunities from a technical standpoint and propose the solution to the customers,
• Ensuring proper selection, application/ qualification within the AC Product Portfolio,
• Ensuring products are being properly handled/installed at the customer factory level,
• Performing product and training presentations including new product introductions,
• Providing customer field support, frequently visiting customers to improve overall visibility, assisting in qualification testing at customer's laboratory facilities, providing routine product and installation trouble shooting support.
The candidate we like to meet has the technical knowledge needed to understand the customer, their needs, problems and requirements, he/she has good Customer orientation, strives for Customer satisfaction with the ability to manage good Customer relationship, he /she works in direct contact, also visiting the clients, at time with active role working with the Engineers in R&D activities at a European level.
Coordination and communications skills at all levels are essential. The position requires good knowledge of English language, entrepreneurial and strong initiative to lead / drive process improvements, personal resilience.
