For the EMEA DIVISION we are selecting a
 

TECHNICAL SERVICE AREA MANAGER

FOR THE FRENCH SPEAKING EMEA COUNTRIES

Technical Support to the Distribution Network and Major Customers


The role foresees follow-up of Service, Warranty and Training activities at an International level, with specific focus on France, Belgium, North and Western Africa.

Reporting to the Service Supervisor – Export, Engines EMEA Area, the candidate will be responsible for technical support, Help Desk activities and directly “in the field”, to the Distribution network and major Customers in the EMEA Area.

The responsibilities and activities for the position includes:

• Evaluation of Service Dealers, ongoing evaluation and assesment, identification and approval of additional Dealers, in agreement with the Service and Sales Manager,

Update of the Service Agreements, after evaluation of the local market characteristics,

Manage the warranty requests,

Transmit failure data, from the markets directly to the Quality Department,

• Organize and lead training sessions for Distributors and Customers in order to give them the correct technical knowledge to reduce repair difficulties and costs


The Technical Service Area Manager will have frequent contacts with the following departments: Quality, Sales, Engineering, Spare Parts, Logistics, Shipping as well as with the Italian OEM Sales Division.

The Ideal Candidate has a Technical Diploma (High School), a 3 years Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is a Plus.  He/she has several years of experience in the Service for Engines (preferably), Construction or Agricultural Machinery.

The position requires good knowledge of French.

 

Other Skills/Requirements:

• Availability to frequent National travels in France and international travel in the assigned Region

• Good knowledge of English
